Words to describe Jennifer and Jacks wedding at Ambient Plus Studio would be: intimate, emotional, and full of anticipation. Centered in the heart of westside Atlanta, Ambient Plus Studio provided the perfect setting for their day. The way the light changed and filtered through the industrial windows at different parts of the day set the tone for each part. Obviously, light changes at every venue depending on the time of day, but April 27th was different. The day started out slow and soft much like the light at mid-day sun looked like. I really had to be picky as to where we took pictures. Being intentional with working with the light was a little difficult for me at first since I had never worked at a venue that filtered sunlight quite like that. As the pace of the day picked up and anticipation for Jennifer and Jack built as we approached the ceremony, so did the sunlight. It gradually got harsher, sharper, and more radiant. As we finished the ceremony and they walked back down the aisle as husband and wife, it was quite a brilliant and beautiful glow that shown through the windows – a direct reflection of the joy and excitement on their faces.

I’ve never really had a wedding feel like theirs. In editing these pictures afterwards, I remember looking at each image in awe of the emotion that radiates through them. Jennifer and Jack have a sort of relationship that’s intense and has been that way since the start. They just get each other. He is so intentional and affectionate with her. They have a connection that is gravitating. They love the Lord. They love each other. And they love and are loved by their people so well. And talk about a party afterwards! Miranda and I had so. much. fun. at this reception. I think we could have danced all night! It was a day fully devoted to celebrating THEM – Jack and Jennifer Anders.
