what's it like?
I want to cultivate a space for you to be comfortable, to be confident, and to feel the freedom to be yourself. I want to bring out genuine laughter and joy and feelings. I'm for more than "pretty photos". I connect best with people who look for a deeper meaning than an Instagram post and who really find value in the mundane of ever day. I know I'm not the photographer for everyone and that's okay. I value connection and trust and want to walk away feeling like friends.

HERE'S HOW WE MAKE IT HAPPEN
You see, I’m not about the posed, “fake laughs” and doing things “for the photos.” I believe the best memories are not staged and are certainly not perfect. The ones that take hold of your heart forever are the ones that didn’t exactly go as planned, but were a story to tell. I have an eye for the little things and want to be there, in the corner, camera in hand, as your mom brushes your hair out of your face, or when your dad looks at you with tear filled eyes before he gives you away to the man of your dreams.
MORE THAN POSES
I'm for more than an Instagram post. I connect best with couples who want to walk away from their session or wedding with me feeling something. Whether that be creating a new memory, or wanting to remember the little things that make this season of life so special, I want your photos to feel something. I want us to dig deep into the connection that you have and let's find ways to bring it out. When I take photos in my personal life, I take them when I am experiencing something I want to feel again. I don't take photos just to have a photo and I want that to translate to you as well. Each and every photo should be filled with life and meaning.
deeper than just "pretty"
A session with me often looks like people having fun. I genuinely want to knw you and know who you are. We'll spend a ton of time talking, with you telling me your story. Don't worry, I'll tell you what to do with your hands and make sure you don't look awkward! But more than that, time with me just looks like friends hanging out because that's what I want to be most: a friend. I leave so many wedding days actually a bit sad because I am so invested in my couple's lives that I'm sad we don't have a reason to communicate as often. I follow my seniors on Instagram so I can watch them fulfill their dreams and find their people in college. I cry with you when you cry, and laugh with you when you laugh. I am fully and totally invested in you.
